This is one of my favorite homes we have worked on so far. It is a beautiful cape cod style home with so much character and detail. This master bathroom was part of a whole home remodel, which we will be sharing more of later, that we did earlier this year and it turned out amazing. Originally this bathroom location had a half bath with an entry off the main hallway and a small master bathroom. The homeowners wanted to create a master suite which incorporated a large closet and created a relaxing place to get ready. (Drawing courtesy of our super talented homeowners!)
The style goal was to create a black and white bathroom that included warm touches of wood and gold. The inspiration from this bathroom came from multiple images the homeowner found on Pinterest.
One of the feature elements of this bathroom is the custom made vanity using a beautiful Walnut wood and stain. This piece and the mirror were made by Fog River Furniture here in Springfield. The countertop is the Caesarstone Frosty Carrina with undermount Kohler sinks and Delta faucets in champaign bronze.
The shower has an elegant matte white 3×6 subway tile which runs from the top of the tub all the way to the ceiling and finished with a crown tile. The grout used here is Silverado which creates a defined look but doesn’t compete with the floor.
The floor is a matte black and white mini hexagon mesh with a Delorean Gray grout. This is a peaceful and beautiful master bath that the homeowners can enjoy for many years to come.
I can’t wait to share the rest of this home remodel with you. Stay tuned for a gorgeous kitchen and half bath.
